I cannot even believe that the time has come that we get to go see Shahar and Roi face to face! I have dreamed of this moment since July 18, 2013, the day we first met via Skype. It gives me chills from the end of my hairs all the way to the tips of my toes recalling that amazing "love at first sight" meeting. There are no words to express what it was like to just know that you are exactly where you are meant to be, doing exactly what you are meant to do, at the most perfect place and time.
As I am sitting here typing this, I have tears rolling down my face, picturing the moment that I get to wrap my arms around Shahar as both of us are a blubbering, joyful mess! How absolutely incredible it will be for her to rub "her baby bump" for the first time, talk to them, sing to them, feel them give their Mommy a kick hello and to be able to sit there and be in the same room for an ultrasound!
I feel so honored and blessed to be given this amazing opportunity....to be trusted with the lives of these beautiful babies and to be welcomed into a loving family with open arms. During my last appointment and ultrasound, Shahar was at her parents home for their Friday night family dinner. She had not told them about the pregnancy and was asking my doctor and I how she should tell them. My doctor says to her "There is no right or wrong way to tell them, what ever you feel in your heart with be absolutely perfect." Shahar jumps up and says are you ready to meet them!? They are in the other room!
When we get to the table, she says, "Everyone, this is our surrogate, Stacie and she is pregnant with our two beautiful babies!!" Everyone cheered, clapped and said hello to me! I had no idea I would be part of such a special moment for their family!!! A moment I will cherish forever!
The babies are growing so fast and even measuring a little bigger rather than smaller!! My doctor asked me how they fit in there since they are two full size babies baking away!!!
Our plane takes off Friday morning at 6:45am!! So thankful for amazing family and friends that are here to help us with rides to and from the airport, and taking care of our precious littles while we are away! My goodness am I going to miss them! They are in great hands and I have no doubt that they will have an amazing week with their grandparents!!

Aaahhhh may this snow not stop you from meeting this beautiful family. I hope someone gets the initial meet on video. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking of it. So much happiness and emotion is going to be filling the room. I can't wait to hear all about it. We love you guys!
